This arrived today,a spare of the moment ebay buy after a friend showed up to my office wearing one of these USN foul weather caps, I decided I should get one for the archive, this one is slightly different to his with to button loops on the back of the head which I can only assume is to fasten the cap in to a hood or helmet.
