-LET’S GET LOST-

Tonight was the official UK premier of Bruce Weber’s 1989 jazz documentary on Chet Baker ‘Let’s get lost’ at the Curzon cinema Soho, I thought I had missed out on tickets to this special event but lady luck looked kindly on me and through a kind friend I got a ticket for this premier and Q&A with Bruce Weber. The film was wonderful the opening sequence was beautiful and the cinematography throughout was inspiring with some beautiful sequences if you have time to go and see this film on the big screen do, you wont regret it. Bruce Weber himself received a fantastic welcome from the intimate crowd and answered questions from the audience and host with all the charm you would expect an incredibly inspiring man, I just want to watch it over again now. Let’s get lost is set for a July DVD release and is showing at select cinemas around the UK from tomorrow. The Curzon is showing a series of shorts next Saturday evening and Broken Noses next Sunday both of which I cant wait to experience on the big screen.
