PORTER-CLASSIC

-PORTER CLASSIC-

On Wednesday this week I ventured out in to a windy and very wet Tokyo to find the Porter Classic store after heavy recommendation from my good friend david, the store is located near Ginza station under the railway lines in a small old mall, after a few wrong turns we found the space, the old mall is kind of cool itself and a perfect setting for a project as niche as Porter Classic the store its self is compact and full of simple items that have to be touched made from the finest fabrics available the staff are lovely to chat to and kind there is also a small gallery in the same mall owned by Porter Classic where items from the owners personal collection are on show, I believe the idea in the end is for the whole mall to be come a Porter Classic space which would be an incredible sight. I really recommend taking a trip out to this space if you are in Tokyo as its something a bit different and a product you won’t find anywhere else, I picked up some buttons for my girlfriend and the staff kindly gave me these hairbands as a gift.
